~~My Happiest Moment in Ireland~~

My happiest moment in Ireland,
is to see all our
Malaysian students are all growing up.

Once a pampered child;
once a spoiled brat at home;
once used to depend on parents for everything;
but now, these kids
are independent and strong.

They know how to do washing;
they know how to fix a light bulb;
they know what cleaning detergent to use;
they know what to cook in the cheapest way.
They know how to take care of their friends when they needed help;
when they are sick;
when they needed someone to talk to.
They help each other out in many ways, which many parents cannot imagine....

I was touched by the gestures
they have given to me.
Thoughtful and gentle in manners.
If I were to say to all parents,
I would say:" dear parents, your kid has grown up."
Thank you for giving them
this opportunity to learn and grow.
